Kyoto Square Coffee Table

The Kyoto Square Coffee Table from Poltrona Frau combines geometry and clean design. This coffee table was designed by Gianfranco Frattini, who took a trip to Japan in the 1970s. During this trip, in collaboration with friend and artisan Pierluigi Ghianda, Frattini began experimenting with techniques for crafting furniture in understated ways. Kyoto is designed with this tenet of simplicity in mind. This table is most known for its wood composition and grid-style, square tabletop, which facilitates the formation of gorgeous silhouettes.
