This is a round coffee table. I believe because of the construction is from France. The wood looks like walnut the wood portions are veneers. There are three cast brass woman's heads. What I find interesting are the small shells imbedded in the stone top that has a satin finish and the stone is not attached but the weight keeps in in place.
