Chairish

$3,363

An exceptionally large coffee table by renowned Ecuadorian designer Angel Pazmiño, crafted by Muebles de Estilo in Ecuador in the 1960s/70s. The table combines Pazmiño's iconic Brutalist design language with high-quality South American leather craftsmanship. The solid, round tabletop is entirely covered in hand-embossed leather, showcasing striking pre-Columbian-inspired relief motifs with distinct depth and a beautiful patina. The tabletop is supported by solid, turned wooden legs with a distinctive, sculptural presence. A particularly interesting feature is the contemporary height adjustment: precisely fitted wooden elements allow the height to be flexibly extended from approximately 40 cm to approximately 45 cm. This table possesses an exceptionally warm ambiance and is perfectly suited for: Brutalist Interiors Organic Modern Spaces Hacienda Style Mid-Century Modern Furnishings Collectors of Latin American Design A true statement piece with a commanding presence and superb materiality. Condition: Very good vintage condition with a beautiful, age-related patina. The leather shows only slight signs of wear and minimal discoloration. The wood is also in very good condition. The embossed details are exceptionally well preserved. Dimensions: Diameter: approx. 120 cm Height: approx. 40 cm Height with extensions: approx. 45 cm I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
