Designed by Theodore Muller and Isabel Barringer for Kittinger, this striking circular cocktail table—known as the “Lotus”—is a sculptural and graphic example of Mid-Century modern design. The top features a distinctive spattered paint process that forms an organic, petal-like lotus pattern in rich, variegated tones of burnt umber, rust, and ochre, accented by darker flecks that add depth and movement to the surface. This dynamic motif is beautifully framed by deep black lacquer and finished with a satin clear coat for a refined, subtle sheen. The black lacquered base features stacked bands of curved wood that lend a sense of visual lightness while maintaining a bold, modern presence.
