This authentic Bayer coffee table features a hand-glazed ceramic top in perfect condition, showcasing a vibrant "lava" glaze and Chariot/Horse design. The ceramic top is supported by distinctive X-frame legs, the table offers a lightweight visual profile without compromising on structural integrity. André Bayer is the creative force behind some of the most recognizable Belgian ceramic furniture from the 1960s and 1970s. He is specifically celebrated for his mastery of the "Fat Lava" glazing technique. The table is in very good condition, the tiles don't have a single chip or crack, but the chrome legs have a bit of a patina with some surface wear ("pitting" spots) . The Bayer signature is visible in the right corner.
