Coffee table in elm, metal and leather attributed to the French designer Jacques Adnet, a great precursor of the modernist movement. The different compartments of the tray, decorated with semi-circular leather grips, as well as the removable side bottle holder, underline the ingenuity and style of Adnet. A model from the 1950s which is one of the great design classics and whose warm brown color is enhanced by the saddle-stitched leather. Superb state of conservation. Note some minimal signs of wear, visible in photos. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
