Designed like a console, this asymmetrical table is a production of French design from the 50s. It combines transparent and black glass as well as brass parts on a black lacquered tubular steel structure. The shape is sober, serious and geometric, softened by the color and shapes of the brass elements. It has 2 glass tops. The coffee table is old and dates from the 1950s. It is made up of a black lacquered square section metal frame, a transparent glass top and a black glass lower top. A significant chip on one edge of the transparent glass top should be noted and is visible in the photo as well as a few scratches. The gilding of the brass is also very patinated in places. Its design is typical of the French midcentury modernist movement.
