Set of 2 coffee tables (living room tables) made by the belgian artist jef verbrak around 1970. With a modernist design, they are composed of two abstract paintings by the artist. Mixed media composition on wood panel, oil and sand inclusion covered with an epoxy resin. Solid wenge wood structure (approximately 2 cm thick). These works are inspired by the brutalist movement associated with that era. Provenance: private collection of the architect mr pletinckx (close friend of the artist), this is a specific commission made for his interior, these are of course unique pieces.
