The Opulent coffee or cocktail table is inspired by Taarof, a Persian tradition of etiquette and hospitality. It's made in New York with FSC®-certified furniture plywood and MDF, and zero-VOC furniture lacquer. The Taarof's design incorporates four discs on the four corners of its tabletop that appear to be extensions of its legs — they can be made plain (sealed closed), or with custom lidded inserts in three available functions: a fruit basket, a pewter ashtray, and/or a double-walled ice bucket. Standard pricing is for four plain discs, while inserts cost an additional $500 each; the table can be specified with one, two, three, or four inserts of your choosing. It can also be custom ordered with a totally flat top (no discs at all on the tabletop) for $12,500 list. The table can be color-matched to any RAL or paint color at no additional charge.
