Due to the natural properties of solid cedar, the following changes may occur over time, especially when placed outdoors:1. Cracks, splits, and movements in the wood are expected and should be viewed as a normal part of the material’s aging process rather than a defect. If used outdoors, these movements will be more pronounced and frequent. 2. When exposed to outdoor elements, cedar will gradually turn grey due to UV exposure and moisture. This transformation is unavoidable and occurs naturally over time.3. The appearance of mold spots or surface deposits is a natural reaction of cedar, particularly when stored in transport crates for extended periods, or covered for too long. If mold spots appear, follow these maintenance steps: - Use the provided brush to remove surface residue.- Wash the affected area with water.- Allow the piece to dry in a well-ventilated area.4. Cedar wood contains natural resins, which may surface over time, particularly on the top or bottom of the product.
