Oval coffee table with two tiers in the louis xvi style, dating from the early 20th century, likely of french manufacture. the wooden structure features veneer and fine marquetry on the upper tier, displaying a centered radiating motif and a border with a pattern of roundels and wavy ribbons in contrasting wood. The two tiers are framed by openwork brass galleries with an arc motif. The saber legs are fitted with cast bronze sabots. The uprights are adorned with chased bronze rosette-style appliqués. The apron is framed with blackened metal beadwork. workshop report: the seller notes that the overall varnish needs refinishing.
