Pedrera Coffee Table

Named after Barcelona's flowy modernist building, the Pedrera Coffee Table pulls visual cues from the iconic landmark with inviting curves and a strong foundation. Barba Corsini designed the piece in 1955 for a loft in La Pedrera. Corsini designed works with 'powerful simplicity' in mind, an approach illustrated in the low-profile, organic shape of the glass top. The transparent glass puts in clear view the line drawing-like visual of the base. The steel base anchors the piece with strong V-shapes that prove lightweight for easy rearranging around the room.
