An Italian coffee table from the 1950s, composed of a softly rounded onyx top resting on tapered brass legs. The slab is richly figuredcreamy veining in shades of honey, alabaster, and pale umber drifting across the surface. Below, four conical brass legs lift the onyx with a light, architectural stance. Their patinaworn in places to reveal flashes of gold beneathadds depth and character, a gentle contrast to the luminosity of the stone. A versatile accent piece, equally suited beside a lounge chair or styled as a small coffee table. Condition: Great vintage condition with very minor scuffs to the onyx top. The brass legs show patination throughout, with areas of finish wear that reveal the underlying brass tones. Structurally sound and sturdy. The table can be fully disassembled.
