Warm was commissioned by contemporary fine art gallery Galerie Artempo to continue their experimentations in merging seemingly incongruent metallic materials into a seamless finish. For Salon NYC 2022, the studio launched a new piece in their Transition Collection crafted from bronze and stainless steel to stunning effect. The large, low stainless steel coffee table features a bronze pattern running along the edges of the table.Product dimensions: D 23 3/4" x W 69" x H 14"Handmade via a process reminiscent of crafting fine jewelry, each piece in the series is one of a kind. The Transition Bronze long coffee table is available as an edition of 20 +2AP. A certificate of authenticity will be provided.Studio Warm has developed a distinctive, high-end, artistic finish blending contrasting, raw materials. The handcrafted and hand finished process, merges different metals brass to a seamless finish, providing a soft transition. Due to their different shrink rates, a subtle waviness may appear, this phenomenon will seem very apparent at times and seem to disappear at others depending of the angle of reflections and sunlight. The process creates an entirely unique finish, perfect imperfections and undulations arising due to the technique only add to the character and individuality of the piece.The Transition collection currently features a coffee table, a set of nesting tables as well as a range of mirrors merging brass and stainless steel. Custom sizes and applications are available as the finish is made to order, a range of metals are available and the finish may be applied to furniture, mirrors, wall art or paneling as custom commissions.
