Made in Italy, 1940s. This is a high-quality solid walnut coffee table. The top is slightly concave with a crystal top in the center. Its legs are distinguished by their conical oval section with grooves that enrich the decoration; its feet caps are made of solid brass. The underlying surface is characterized by a veneer composed of four triangles that meet perfectly in the middle. We attribute it to Paolo Buffa as it is part of a furniture with several pieces by Paolo Buffa, furthermore the conical oval section legs are a solution that Buffa used in some of his furnishings. This is a vintage item, therefore it might show slight traces of use such as its original patina, but overall it can be considered as in excellent original condition and ready to become a piece in a home. Measures: Diameter: 79 cm Height: 51 cm. Lower shelf diameter: 64 cm Height to the first shelf: 25 cm This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
