The sturdy base composed of cylindrical elements is entirely handcrafted of white terracotta, worked on a lathe and painted with mixed media decorations in the contrasting nuances of white and green using only non-toxic, water-based lacquers. Sinuous, hand-painted decorations in matching nuances grace the squared, wengè-finished wooden top, which is treated by hand with sand and plaster.
