Coffee table at-15 by hans wegner for andreas tuck in solid oak. A robust yet elegant blonde coffee table in untreated and solid oak. Typical danish grace in design of this piece with its proportions and rounded shapes. A thin solid oak top on a solid oak frame with rounded legs with lots of expressive flames. The flames in the wood really make this piece come to live and there is just so much character in this coffee table that you wonder what it has all heard and seen in all those years and how many conversations were held around it. To summarise: the most distinctive part of this coffee table is that it's blonde oak and that it is solid. We are always looking for blonde wood products to balance out against all the other darker colours (dark brown mostly) and we also love solid wood structures because they will easily last another century, so their circularity is guaranteed. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
