The Toblo coffee table, designed for Miniforms by the E-ggs collective, originates from a simple gesture that finds strength in the material itself. Its cylindrical form, smooth and compact, preserves in its softened edges the memory of manual shaping, as if it retained the moment when clay was still malleable.Made entirely of terracotta, the table presents itself as a monomaterial block that highlights the physical essence of its substance. Craftsmanship is central to the project: each piece shows subtle variations, direct evidence of the manual process that makes it unique. The smooth surface contrasts with the solidity of the volume, balancing form and matter.Toblo captures a suspended instant, when clay has reached its final form yet has not undergone firing. From this emerges a sense of softness, combined with compact and stable presence.
