This is a beautiful Hollywood Regency styled oval coffee table featuring a hand-forged iron frame with a distressed gilt finish, scroll feet, and decorative wrapped-joint detailing. The substantial oval glass top allows the sculptural base to remain fully visible, highlighting the elegant crossed stretcher design and faux wrapped iron "bindings." This is not marked, but is a decorators piece and very high quality. The table displays influences of both Hollywood Regency and Mediterranean Revival design, with gracefully curved lines and artisan-crafted details. The aged gilt finish has a faux under-paint to add to the patina and lends a rich patina that complements the hand-worked appearance of the iron frame.
