About This exquisitely carved mixed-wood two-drawer Baroque library table hails from the Provincial capital of Valladolid in the northern Spanish region of Castile-Leon. With deep lustrous patina over the entire surface, this early to mid-18th century table (1700-1750) features a single board 1" thick chestnut top set over walnut drawers and skirt decorated on all three sides with large deeply carved acanthus leaves and geometrics, and supported by four generously proportioned tsalomonic turned legs framed by thick floor stretchers.
