An Italian walnut table with drawer from the 18th century. This antique table from Italy has a rectangular-shaped top with softly-rounded front corners which rests atop an apron that houses a full-sized drawer along its front side, and has a nicely carved skirt along three sides. The table is presented upon shapely front legs, with knees that gracefully curve in outward fashion, and a squared pair of legs at rear. The drawer has an oblong-shaped cut out lining its facade, and is fitted with a pair of decorative brass handle pulls that are old, but not original to this piece. The medium tone walnut has a wonderfully aged patina; a reflection of its centuries old age and history. Please note that there is some slight warping at the top (refer to additional images for more detail on condition). This 18th century Italian table, with full sized drawer and shapely legs, would make a nice console or smaller-sized server.
