This industrial maple library console table was designed by the John E. Sjöström Company of Philadelphia. The company specialized in efficient, clean and modern furniture for public use. This particular double drawer table with wonderful patina features a solid construction with braced metal capped legs and recessed brass pulls - elements that are built to last in heavy use environments. At 26" height it works well as a low desk or work table or as a fantastic industrial console table. The apron height is 18.5". Many John E.
