19th century oak console table from England with a wonderfully detailed hand carved backsplash over the top of the table, which has a beveled and carved decorated edge and simple sides. The front of the piece has a carved apron with two drawers, which are also hand carved decorated. the table is supported on hand turned and carved bulbous legs in the front, and simple legs in the back, also hand carved, for easy placement against a wall. The legs are joined by a lower shelf and end in hand carved bun feet in the front.
