Found in the Catalon Region of Spain, this 19th Century Oak Console Table dates back to the late 1800's. The piece features a 1.5" single plank top resting above four legs adjoined by end, center and a middle Y form stretcher. The stretchers exhibit mortise and tenon joinery which is a foundational, ancient, woodworking technique used to connect two pieces of wood.
