This antique Chinese Altar Table is an outstanding table with great workmanship. The Intricate "relief" carvings of the "double flying dragon" design decorate the spandrels of the table. All the woodworks of this table are rounded up with detailed carving lines. The legs of the table are crafted from a simple yet elegant Ming style of straight lines. The table is crafted with wooden pegs and a tenon structure; which is the very traditional craftsmanship for furniture making in ancient China. Made from the core of Elmwood with beautiful wood grain, the table is very heavy and solid, and has been kept in excellent condition. Circa early of 19th century. Original patina and wear.
