Larger pits are filled, while smaller ones remain unfilled. Pits on the tabletop will be filled. This treatment can be adjusted. As a natural material, all stone is porous and susceptible to nicks, stains, or scratches; avoid placing sharp or heavy objects on the surface. Natural variations in the stone's color, texture, and veining, as well as differences arising from the hand-finishing process, are inherent and to be expected.
