Blessing Modern Copper & Ebonized Hand Carved Wood & Oak Primal Console By Egg

The Modern Primal Console is part of the Blessing collection designed and manufactured by Egg Designs in South Africa.The Blessing console has three legs that are hand chiseled using Alien timbers. Two legs are treated with a burnished black polish which gives them an ebonized look with a lustrous sheen, the other leg is hand copper leaf gilded. This creates a rich contrast which makes this piece a real stand out. The top is French oak. The large stone shaped legs give this piece a Brutalist appearance, which allows it to fit into any style of interior. Blessing is an artist from Zimbabwe who came to us in the most serendipitous way, he came to South Africa looking for better opportunities where we discovered him carving the most beautiful angels at a local market.We decided then to develop a range of products for him to use his skills.
