Codice Briccole

CODICE BRICCOLE is a console table made of briccola wood.‎It is an interpretation of what the briccole recovered from the Venetian lagoon represent.‎It depicts Aristotle’s five elements: water, air, and fire are the elements that have left their mark on the surface of the logs; earth and aether are the elements that produced them.‎The project is a DNA, a codification of the briccola within the landscape context of Venice.‎
