This custom built console table is made using reclaimed, vintage wood. It has a shelf and two drawers that can be opened from either side, making it very versatile. This table can be placed behind a sofa, in an entryway, or can be used as a console table. But, since it looks the same from both sides, it can stand alone and be used as a room divider. We use only traditional carpentry techniques, no nails or metal fasteners of any kind. Just mortise and tenon construction reinforced with hand-cut wooden dowels.
