Inspired by French Modernist Furniture of 1930's Atelier is designed by Michael Vanderbyl with clean lines and modern proportions for today's interiors. The fluted front console table is finished with walnut veneer, stainless steel sabot feet and stainless steel hardware. Michael Vanderbyl is a multidisciplinary designer based in San Francisco with expertise in identity, print and digital communications, showrooms, interiors, furniture and product design. Clients have included Esprit, Baker Furniture, Walt Disney, IBM, America One, Teknion, The Blackstone Group and Luna Textiles. In 2000, Vanderbyl was awarded the medal of the American Institute of Graphic Arts. He received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Interior Design Association in 2006 and was inducted into Interior Design’s Hall of Fame in 2012. His work is in the permanent collections of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Denver Art Museum, the Cooper-Hewitt and the Library of Congress. H 33" x W 60" x D 18" Good condition.
