An extraordinary iron table of serpentine form, the scrolling frame with stylised foliate ornament and set with a marble top. This table relates to other known examples of French wrought iron furniture from the 1930s. Its stylistic source is the rocaille or rococo movement and specifically, carved giltwood console tables of the Louis XV Period in French furniture design. Such a table would have been made as a statement piece and would most probably have been positioned in the hallway of a grand residence. We have 2 available for purchase, each sold separately Feel free to ask questions. Thank you for looking at my listing
