This elegant console table was crafted in Northern China at the beginning of the 20th century. Crafted from Ironwood this table is unique given that the majority of tables in this style were crafted from elmwood. It features elegant long and narrow legs that are beautifully proportioned with curved ends. The stretchers compliment the curved legs with their subtly bent shape where they are joined to the table's legs. There is a name inscribed on the underside of the table (highlighted in the last image) likely to be the name of the tables crafter.
