The Enso table by Neal Aronowitz draws inspiration from the disciplined spiritual practice of Japanese ink painting. A wall fastened console, The Enso Table appears to gracefully float, defying gravity. It was conceived as a single fluid spontaneous gesture of ink on paper and then translated to this form made of concrete canvas and polished aluminum. The Concrete Canvas collection is a minimalist concept that explores the unique structural properties of this material to express a light, fluid, lyrical form in contrast to the dense and heavy associations that we have with concrete.
