A palatial rouge or rosa royal marble table in Louis XVI style. Dating from the mid to early 19th century France with wonderful detailing and impressive size. Designed to be against wall and attached with brackets. The legs are decorated in carved column like motifs. Beautiful rouge or rusty red color with white and grey veining. A beautiful and rare piece that was shipped over from Europe to the last owner. Similar structure to a marble fireplace mantle or mantel but in a convenient console table form. Extremely heavy.
