A good mid century modern 1960s polished chrome, brass & glass console or sofa table by John Vesey (1924-1992). The table is substantially made from polished chrome with polished arched shaped brass brackets & feet, the top is inset with tempered glass and the table is raised of four legs designed of three tubular elements. The table was part of the estate of the accountant of celebrated chef and food author, James beard and came from his estate in Oregon, it was acquired in the late 1960s. John Vesey had designed furniture that was collected by Nelson Rockerfeller and the Duchess of Windsor to name a few, his designs where produced initially in the Bronx NY by "Beacon Artisans", Vesey was a serious trendsetter in the mid 20th century. Condition is very good indeed, this elegant table is ready is grace your space.
