The Motus console II is designed using theancient Japanese technique of woodbending. At Raka Studio we create designsusing this technique which are fluid in theirform and are coherent with the laws ofnature. The base design is constantly inmotion and there are no straight edges, oneextension seamlessly emerges from theother as if it were a branch growing out of atrunk.The base which also balances the wholestructure holds the solid wood top from multiplepoints. The base design has been slashed as if were seamlessly vanishing into the top.The Motus console II is a limited edition pieceand can be customized in dimensions anddifferent stain finishes.
