Large-scale spalted maple console table with a dark-finished slab top and symmetrical steel base. The maple was reclaimed from a Hudson Valley shipyard along Rondout Creek and retains natural edge variation and surface character. This version features matching U-shaped dark bronze powder-coated steel legs on both ends, giving the table a more grounded, furniture-like stance. The deeper top offers added surface area, making it practical for lamps, books, or decorative objects. A straightforward, oversized console with an industrial-rustic sensibility. A second console from the same build is available, forming a near pair. The tables share the same materials, finish, and scale, with slightly different base configurations. Together, they would work well in a commercial or hospitality setting such as a restaurant, gallery, retail space, or large entry sequence, where repetition with subtle variation is desirable.
