A 19th century red lacquer Chinese altar table (console table) with black lacquer drawers. This Chinese 19th century altar table was made of red lacquered wood and black lacquer drawers and displays a refined rectangular shape. Its feet feature a horse hoof motif. The table is lacquered in a bright red hue that makes for a Stark contrast with the black lacquer of its five drawers. Each drawer opens thanks to a brass bail handle.
