Shape is a console table made of MDF.‎ The Shape console follows the SHAPE table, which was introduced last year.‎ The interplay of solid and empty spaces characterizes the base supporting the top and becomes an aesthetic feature with a strong graphic appeal.‎ It also recalls the simple circular shapes and variations of the childhood art projects made with paper—folding a sheet several times, cutting out parts of it, and then unfolding it to reveal geometric patterns or even little paper figures holding hands in a “round dance.‎” The console is born from this same mechanism and poetic concept, aiming to evoke, through the chosen material, that same lightness and simplicity, while furnishing different areas of the home with a strong personalit from the entryway to the transitional space between the living area and the sleeping quarters.‎
