Console table with a base of a natural form mature teak wood root cluster. We believe the teak root was sourced in Asia. The teak roots have been lightened, planed, and sanded smooth by a US craftsman. The roots have been cut so that the base sits level. New glass top is 1/2" thick and sits on top of table base which is quite solid and heavy. Great piece with lots of visual impact and a strong sculptural quality. Condition: Old teak root base cluster has been modified by a craftsman to function as a table base. Roots were planed/cut/sanded smooth to create a level, free-standing table base.
