This Louis XV wall console is beautifully made with well executed cabriole legs mounted with brass “chabottes” and it has a great proportions. The top is decorated with booked match walnut veneer followed by satinwood inlay stringing and the edge has a cross banding walnut veneer. The wood has been cleaned and french polished, it has a nice deep honey like walnut color with nice patina. This is a very high quality piece of furniture that beautifully captures the nature of the Roccoco style.
