This charming Georgian turned-corner chair makes the perfect accent to small spaces and awkward corners. I've always thought this chair has a New England sea faring captain vibe to it. The mahogany frame features lovely beaded and turned back, brass casters for ease of mobility, and is of solid wood construction. The Marlborough legs are graceful, yet simple. The seat is upholstered in a crushed, citron velvet which is most likely original. The seat sits into a channel within the frame making for an easy re-upholstery job if so desired. The arm has lost one of its volutes, but it could be restored using the other as a template and a reputable restorer. The pricing currently reflects this issue.
