Each corner opens with a door, in developed quatrefoil veneer, underlined by fillets with Greek corners. These doors, one of which opens to the right and the other to the left, feature mitered violet wood frames. Each door is fitted with an authentic working lock with key and keyhole. The mitered jambs are also veneered, developed with fillet and knot-patterned falls. The protruding humped feet are dressed with sabots. The interior features two fixed shelves. Both pieces of furniture are topped with Royal Red marble.
