An 18th century Queen Anne Walnut Corner Chair, England, circa 1740, the horseshoe-shaped crest rail above three turned supports flanked by vase-shaped splats enclosing a square slip seat covered in wine-colored damask, all resting on four graceful cabriole legs ending in pad feet. The chair has a warm mellow patina and an old finish--two of the pad feet have pieced repairs; otherwise, the chair is in a remarkable state of preservation. It is solid, sturdy and ready to place. A beautiful survivor of early 18th century England.
