This corner armchair from the Serie 540 was designed by Ico Parisi, and made by Fratelli Longhi, in Italy in the late 1960s. Is a perfect example of experimental Italian mid-century design. Overall dimensions are H: 74 cm, diameter 57 cm. Seat height is 41, and armrest height is 60 cm. This striking armchair features an unconventional geometric form, where a round seat is seamlessly set within a square frame, triangular armrests, and a headrest with softly rounded inner edges, giving the chair a dynamic, architectural presence. Crafted from two-color lacquered wood, the structure contrasts beautifully with the upholstered seat, emphasizing the refined balance between material and form.
