Fredrik Kayser 3-seat rosewood sofa and lounge chair by Vatne, 1960s, Set of 2 This very elegant four-seat sofa set was designed by one of Norway's most iconic Designers, Fredrik A. Kayser for Vatne sometime in the late 1960s as model 965. The set has rosewood base and legs and are upholstered with the original brown wool fabric. The style of the sofa pays some homage to the Kaare Klint Scool. The set is in good vintage condition without any structural issues. Fredrik A. Kayser along with Afdal, Brattrud, Rastad & Relling is one of Norway’s most respected designers of the midcentury era, clearly inspired by Danish furniture design.
