Minimalist sofa from the 1950s designed and manufactured by August Brandt for Ranch Oak Furniture. Ranch Oak was a furniture brand that had a slight western look and feel. This sofa, with its lack of ornamentation and slightly angled arms creates a minimalist form. The base is constructed of oak with tooled marking and a cerused finish. The finish goes extremely well with the dove grey colored wool upholstery. The arms and back are topped with the same tooled oak cerused wood. The sofa is 87.5” long by 31” high and 31” deep. The upholstery is relatively new looking with no tears, holes or stains.
