This elegant antique Victorian parlor sofa, often referred to as a Rococo Revival settee, dates to the late 19th century and exemplifies the refined craftsmanship and sculptural presence of the period. The sofa features a beautifully carved solid wood frame with flowing serpentine lines, scrolled arms, and finely detailed cresting, all resting on gracefully shaped legs typical of Victorian formal seating. The piece has been custom upholstered in a soft, pale celadon with subtle dotted texture, complemented by coordinating patterned seat cushions and decorative bolster pillows with tassel accents. The condition is very good except for a small chip out of the back leg and there looks to be a watermark stain across the back rest of the sofa which could be easily covered with accent pillows.
