ESEDRA | Sofa - The shape of the sofa, available in two different heights, is defined by the woven fibre, whose weave recalls typical old-style baskets.‎ The sofa is completed and made comfortable by a waterproof and UV ray resistant acrylic padding, lightweight and durable, designed to last over time.‎Rain cover available.‎Eye-catching aesthetics and unusual textures tell the story of Esedra, the outdoor collection designed by Luca Nichetto and star of the new Ethimo catalogue.‎ At the time of the Ancient Romans, the “exedra” was a semi-circular space where social gatherings and philosophical debates were held.‎ The collection Esedra takes its name from this element of classical architecture to create a complete range of furniture for a contemporary outdoor look, establishing a relationship between the various materials, such as the synthetic fibre used for the seat-backs, treated with a technology that recreates the sensation of natural woven fibre, the fabric upholstery of the cushions and the aluminium legs.‎The collection includes Esedra Chair, Lounge Chair and Sofa, elements perfect for the recreation of true semi-circular cosy “niches”, their structures coloured in Warmwhite, Dark Grey.‎ The soft cushions fabrics that complete these lounge furnishings come in Nature White, Black Stone and Red Earth.‎ Different shapes and sizes of tables and coffee tables are available with tops in a variety of materials such as pickled teak or highly resistant Laminam porcelain ceramic tile in Slate Grey or Dove Grey.‎
