Handsome vintage Modern James David Inc. sling sofa composed of a chrome & steel frame, original brown wide wale corduroy fabric upholstered on loose zippered foam seat & back cushions w/button detail, arm covers, brown canvas slings, & black plastic caps on cylindrical chrome legs. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, we have mended a few tears in the fabric but it will need to be reupholstered and is priced as such. Chrome is great. This beauty is wearing its original brown wide wale corduroy fabric upholstered on its arm covers & loose zippered foam seat & back cushions w/button detail, sitting upon marvelous brown canvas slings which gives the sofa cushions a fabulous floating effect. Ok folks… this fabric has seen better days. We LOVE the brown wide wale corduroy and you could use it this way for a while, but it has a few snags, tears, a stain or two, and age appropriate wear you would expect on a vintage piece. But honestly… we never look at reupholstering as a bad thing… Just IMAGINE all of the incredible textures, colors, and styles of fabric options you have to choose from!!! Limitless Possibilities!! Customize it to fit your space perfectly!!!!!
